Hi!  My name is Marie Carr.  I am an Ordained Minister through Joan Hunter Ministries and hold a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Safe Harbor Institute. I am a born-again Christian who is in love with Jesus.  He is my savior and  the Word of God is our handbook for life. My heart is to see people healed from trauma, inner-wounds, and addictions.  My counseling approach is a prayer ministry.  We invite Holy Spirit to help us identify the root cause of the problem instead of focusing on the symptoms.  Once the root cause is identified, we will design a unique program for your specific needs.  

Often those who need help are reluctant to see a counselor because of shame or embarrassment.  Don’t worry about that.  We all have a past, but our past does not define us.  Our creator is the one who says who we are and He says that we are uniquely and wonderfully made.  He loves us dearly.  Since I am an Ordained Minister, all the information that you share with me will be held in the strictest of confidence.  I do not take insurance, and I do not share your information with any outside sources.   In order for counseling to be effective, it is vital to be able to trust that what is shared with the counselor will not be judged or shared elsewhere.

I have kept my rates low enough so that they can be affordable.
