Jeremiah 29:11 (NKJV)
11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
You are Royalty!
It is explained to us in the first book of the Bible, that we are created in God’s image, and we were created to rule. That makes us royalty.
(Genesis 1:26, 27 NIV) Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may RULE over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Adam gave up his right to rule and be a ruler in God’s Kingdom through an act of rebellion against God, which in turn, affected all of his offspring (including you and me). Jesus has made the way for us to be reconciled back to right standing with our Father, God.
Romans 5:17( NIV) For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!
There you have it! The simple Gospel is Jesus came to earth to reconcile us back to the Father. Anyone who invites Jesus into their heart and lets him become the Lord of their life, will be a new creature. Every sin in the former life will be completely blotted out and washed clean by the blood of Jesus poured out in their behalf.
When you choose to invite Jesus into your heart and accept him as the Lord of your life, you will be reconciled back to your Father and become adopted back into the Family of God. You will therefore be a child of God. ROYALTY!
Born Again
(John 3:3 KJV) Jesus answered and said unto him, “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
(Romans 10: 9, 10 NIV) “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”
Prayer of Salvation
Repeat this simple prayer…
“Father God, I confess that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I believe in my heart that He died for my sins and that You raised Him from the dead. By faith in Your Word, I receive salvation now. Thank You for saving me! In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen”
